Black Cat Breeds You’ll Want to Adopt

Pets brighten our days and it’s only fair to dedicate an entire day of celebration to our furry friends. That’s exactly what International Cat Day attempts to celebrate by recognizing our feline companions and spreading awareness of the best ways to take care of their wellbeing in a holistic way. 

It is observed on August 8 each calendar

year International Cat Day was established with the help of the International Fund for Animal Welfare in 2002.  Blue Colored Birds   The animal rights group utilizes the day to raise awareness about the needs and desires of cats. It also encourages owners to come up with new ways to strengthen their relationships with their pets. A special focus is placed on encouraging the adoption of abandoned cats.

Its the official “custodian” of the International

Cat Day is the group, International Cat Care. According to their website, it is the topic of the day this year, is “Be Cat Curious- Training for Cats and their Humans”.

According to the organization the theme was selected due to data that showed that 95% of owners required assistance in training their pets. In addition, more than half of cat owners said that they had difficulty bringing their pet into the carrier.
